Working in teams
An organization is a shared space where a team works on rules together. It has its own profile page with its repositories and members. You control who can see and change what.
Creating an organization
During the preview period, most people request a new organization and the LemmaBase team reviews it. You can set a display name, handle, bio, and logo in the organization settings. If you change the handle, old links keep working for a while.
Roles
Every member has a role that determines what they can do. Owners have full control, including transferring ownership. Managers can invite and remove members and manage service tokens. Members can access repositories according to their visibility settings.

Invitations
Owners and managers can invite people by handle or by email. The invitation appears in the recipient’s dashboard and they also receive an email. If the person does not yet have a LemmaBase account, the email includes a link to sign up.
Personal tokens
A personal token lets your systems and agents authenticate as you. You create one in Dashboard → Settings. The token is shown once at creation, so copy it then. For the format and how to send it in requests, see Using your specs.
Organization service tokens
A service token belongs to the organization, not to a person. Org owners and managers create them in the organization settings. A service token gives automated systems read access to all of the organization’s repositories.
Who can see what
Public repositories are open to everyone. Organization repositories are visible to members of that organization. Private repositories are visible only to people who have been given access. If you want to connect an AI assistant to your rules, see LemmaBase MCP.
